Money is just energy

I've been taking an online course that helps you change your thinking about money.  This is such a big thing in everyone's life, it affects so much!  It's part of our society and something we need to energetically connect with.  I know a lot of people will say "energetically connect with?  are you nuts?  I just need a better paying job! or better yet win the lottery!".  But remember everything is energy!  And the good news is money is inanimate!  So the relationship is energetically clean; money has no opinions, no agenda, nothing preconceived!  So the key is connecting energetically.
Think about what meaning you give to money.  What is the baseline essence of having it for you?  I'd say freedom for the most part.  It allows you the freedom to....(fill in the blank here).  We are, as energetic beings, 100% responsible for our relationship with money and it all comes down to what we believe about it and our relationship.   Do you feel free?  How can you allow yourself to feel free and therefore attract more money?
Let's look at how we look at money, this can help us change how we feel about it.  What did your parents or guardians teach you about money?  ("Money doesn't grow on trees!", "There is always enough if you are deserving.", etc...)  What would a child learn about money from you?  Does all the money you spend and earn bring you joy?  Is there a natural flow?  I have actually learned to enjoy paying bills!  It brings me great joy that I can and also that I don't have to be stressed all the time about whether or not I can, this is a new thing to me.  But even in the times when I couldn't I always found a way to stay afloat even if it was just barely.  Do you you get to spend any money on yourself?  I'm trying to think of things I've always wanted to do but thought they weren't necessities so couldn't do them.  That was one thing I definitely learned growing up was that you spend money on necessities.  The rest you do without.  (That's not to say I never got fun stuff now and then but they were not the focus of my mom's budget!)  Some of the answers to these questions may make you look at how you see yourself?  Are you worthy?  Are you abundant?  Are you a creator?  Recently I was reflecting on "I create what I want easily and effortlessly."  That's quite a statement for some people to accept.  But I realize I have gotten better at this!  I am the one in control of my emotions so I react the way I want most of the time.  I see changes in my work experience, I got a better manager, I run into people I wanted to see, I've paid off my credit cards, and much more.
I'll leave you with that for now.  It's a lot to think about.  But see if you can figure out some old ways of thinking about money that you can let go.  See if you can feel more positive about your relationship with money, what are the good things happening in that area.  There are always good things if you look for them.
